Case Study: The Frisco Police Department
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Frisco Police Department contacted us looking for weapon storage available through a GSA contract. They wanted to replace their existing racks. Our storage specialist listened to their requirements, measured their space and proposed 6 Stackable Weapon Racks (SWRs) and 2 Weapon Lockers.
THE STORAGE REQUIREMENTS
The police department needed to store 80 rifles stored in bags that were 11-inches deep x 39-inches high by 2.75-inches wide. We often come across hard cases or loose rifles – storing weapons in soft cases was uncommon for our team. Our storage specialist developed a solution that worked perfectly for their cases. The other major requirement was their allocated space. The entire solution had to fit on a wall that is just under 12-feet wide.
We needed to accomodate a wall measuring approx. 12 feet to fit soft rifle cases used by the Frisco Police Department.

THE DASCO SOLUTION
Our storage specialist worked closely with The Frisco Police Department to create the best solution for their needs. We proposed 6 SWRs and 2 Stackable Weapon Lockers. Stacking the SWRs and Weapon Lockers produced 2 levels of weapon storage with a total width of 11.6 feet – meaning it fit perfectly. We developed dividers to hold the rifle cases up and keep them organized in the racks. With the combination of racks, dividers and shelves, we were able to offer them just enough storage space in the perfect footprint. The Frisco Police Department installed the solution themselves. They found the installation process easy and the result really shows. Frisco PD created a beautiful new weapon storage system. We should note that their floors were not level. You can install our racks even with un-level floors thanks to our built-in levelling feet – we know the Frisco PD loves them.

Usually weapons are kept in hard cases, but they needed a custom outfit for rifles being stored in soft bags. Most of our products are shipped partially or completely assembled, so that minimal installation is required on the receiving end at the station. The Frisco Police Department was able to assemble the lockers easily by adjusting the levellers on the lockers.

The Stackable Weapon Locker is perfect for storing guns and accessories for teams.
Weapon Lockers can be bolted in banks – side-to-side, back-to-back, on top of each other – and can be secured to the floor and wall. Equipped with our universal back panel, your system can be perfectly tailored to your weapon inventory using solid-steel components. Easily re-configure components to rearrange your weapons – great for growing teams.
The low-tolerance doors can be secured with additional locking mechanisms for maximum security.
